June Who?

Thanks for stopping by. My name is June Malone and herewith the obligatory cheesy photo, just to give you an idea of who’s doing all the talking here.

This blog allows you to observe my public humiliation as I draw and paint out loud – to motivate myself, improve my skills and finally become an illustrator.

Praise isn’t necessary but constructive criticism and feedback are welcomed. As are commissions. Please feel free to contact me via my website at

I won’t be blogging frequently. I know, boring of me, but drumming your fingers on the screen and sighing won’t do any good.

I have a husband, a teenage son and two adult step daughters – and live in England, on the southeastern edge of London’s urban sprawl…for my sins.

Okay, that’s all – you can stop pretending to care now. What more did you expect – do you want to know the name of my dog?????

Actually, I don’t have a dog, but if I did, I’m sure it would definitely want to wear these…but not one of these.

Hi Stephen – yes it’s very enjoyable and good to have you here. Returning to illustrating is just the best, most positive activity to date – life begins again. Hurrah!

Hi Dean, Glad you stopped by before disappearing into your shed. As a compulsive potterer myself, I have a number of pottering projects constantly on the go. And I know you’re really off to create beautiful paintings.
